Part 1: Create a compelling marketing campaign that maximises your budget
The rise of digital and social media has prompted many DMOs and brands to create marketing campaigns with bloggers and other online influencers, often with mixed results. This session focuses on key elements that are the foundation of a successful campaign. Drawing from a variety of case studies, this engaging session will show you how to work with bloggers and online influencers effectively to create a campaign that delivers the biggest impact without punching a hole in your budget.
Part 2: Professional travel bloggers: how to become one and how to work with them
The past few years have seen an increasing number of travel bloggers turning what was once a hobby into a full-time profession. This session will explore what it takes to become a professional travel blogger and best practices by some of the most successful bloggers. We will also discuss the blogger-industry relationship and ways to create mutually-beneficial partnerships. The session will also include key learnings from the second edition of the Social Travel Summit Think Tank Report. This report was compiled based on blogger-industry discussions on best practices and successful collaborations at the Social Travel Summit 2015 Think Tank in Hamburg.
