iambassador is proud to announce that for the first time in its six year history, BlogVille is now also taking place during the winter months. As part of this year’s BlogVille Europe partnership with Tirol, a special snowy edition of BlogVille will be taking place in the Tirolean Alps; we’re not sure you could find a more idyllic wintry location!
This winter edition of BlogVille will take place over a two-week period in two Alpine locations in Tirol, Austria. From Monday 8th January to Saturday 13th January 2018 a group of influencers will stay in Pillerseetal, in the Kitzbühel Alps, and from Saturday 13th January until Saturday 20th January 2018, our BlogVIlle influencers and bloggers will be in Alptauch, again in the Kitzbühel mountains but also close to the Rofan mountain range. Be part of BlogVille’s Winter Edition in Tirol
While the backdrop will be very different to the typical BlogVille summer experience, the premise is the same. Working with iambassador and the local tourism authority, influencers are invited to spend time in the location exploring activities, culture, traditions and history, as they wish. Their accommodation and some experiences are provided for them, but the principle of allowing the influencer to explore and discover their own stories is what makes BlogVille such a unique campaign.

Tirol’s winter wonderland!
While our usual BlogVille campaign in Emilia-Romagna features lots of sunshine, blue skies and even beaches, this special wintertime BlogVille will be almost the exact opposite. That said, there will still be good food, wine, and local experiences and traditions to discover. Below you can find more information about the two locations our influencers will experience in Tirol.
Pillerseetal – Tirol (Austria)
From Monday 8th January to Saturday 13th January 2018 this wooden cabin surrounded by mountains will be our influencers home!
The chalet is located directly at the valley station of the mountain railway and next to the centre of the village Waidring. It features a sun terrace and panoramic views of the mountains. It’s well equipped with all modern facities and even features access to a bio Sauna Cube!
As for the Pillerseetal region, the cabin is located between the Steinplatte mountain and the Loferer Rocky mountains. From here influencers will have access to numerous outdoor activities from skiing and snowboarding to winter hiking and snow-shoeing.

Alpbachtal – Tirol (Austria)
Immediately after the Pillerseetal experience, from Saturday 13th January to Saturday 20th January 2018, iambassador influencers will be staying in this cosy chalet, also surrounded by snowy mountains.
The chalet is a comfortable and cosy B&B located in a central yet quiet spot that will serve as the perfect base for all kinds of outdoor activities and exploring in the Alpbachtal region. There’s a panoramic balcony in case the sun decides to shine, a traditional wooden Tirolean interior, and all the bathrooms have been recently renovated with modern Italian features.
Named the most beautiful village in Austria, Alpbachtal is a blogger and photographer’s dream! Furthermore, The Alpbachtal & Tiroler Seenland Region has been awarded the official title of “Genussregion”, which is a status awarded by the Austrian government to regions home to traditional produce of exceptional quality, so in addition to all the winter sports and adventure activities on offer, there is also guaranteed to be delicious culinary experiences on offer.
